A SKILL DEVELOPMENT SESSION WITH ORPHANS

“Human skill development in any nation is key for economic growth.”

A skill development session to an Orphanage is a life-changing experience as it is filled with emotions and sentiments. We were lucky to get an opportunity to visit an Orphanage named Matruchhaya Balakashram on January 2, 2022. There were around 30 children. The age group of the children were ranging from 6 years to 18 years. When we entered, most of the children started staring at us. We had brought food, books, chocolates, pens, drawing sheets, etc. with us. We segregated ourselves and went to talk individually to everyone. Everyone were so active and happy there. After that we shared our ideas with the children there and started drawing competition. All the children there have amazing skills, all of them made very good drawings and put all of us in trouble that how to choose the best from it. After seeing the paintings of all the children, with great difficulty we selected the top 3 paintings from all the paintings and they were given a trophy with honor. It was a matter of great fortune for us that we got a chance to go there and spend time with the little ones. To make this event possible, our members Pramodkumar Vishwakarma, Omprakash Solanki, Shweta Baretha, Phalguni Datta, and volunteers Aishwarya Nikhare, Deepak Gupta, Shubham Adak, Nidhi Shrivas, Vicky Naik made their valuable contribution.
